• How do I audition for Hammerkatz?​

  • ​​​Hammerkatz will be holding open auditions during the first weeks of school in September! Everyone in Hammerkatz joins as a writer and performer. The audition consists of two parts: a performance audition and a submitted writing sample.

• When/where does Hammerkatz perform?

  • Hammerkatz performs new original shows every month or two in the Shorin Performance Center, the Riese Lounge and the Dean's Conference Room. Hammerkatz also performs throughout the year at comedy venues around NYC like the Upright Citizens Brigade and the People's Improv Theater. Come see us!

 

• Where can I find the most up-to-date information about shows, events, and auditions?

• How often does Hammerkatz meet?

  • Hammerkatz has writers meetings once a week throughout the semester. We also hold rehearsals Monday-Friday the week before a show.​

• Where is your bathroom?

  • We are not a building. This question doesn’t really apply to us.​

​

• Is this Lafayette Street?

  • No, this is Broadway. Lafayette is one block over.

• Do you know Matan? 

  • Of course.
